Ladies & Gentlemen,
Engagement season is upon us! That means it’s time for a lot of proposals & the beginning of wedding planning for those who get engaged over the holidays! Did you know nearly 40% of couples get engaged from November to February? Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hannukah, New Year’s Eve, and Valentine’s Day are big days to bring out the bling! I’ve complied a list of my top ring designers/websites/storefronts for guys (and gals, because I’m a feminist) to purchase this season!
Anna Sheffield: One of my favorie designers who I found on Instagram is Anna Sheffield, based in New York City. Her pieces are really unique & she’s a big fan of mixing metals, which is so on trend for 2017, along with gold making a comeback & rose gold holding strong! Not all of her pieces are diamonds, which is great for the conscious bride.
Neil Lane: If you’ve watched the Bachelor, Neil is the man who helps the cheese ball contestants pick out the rings for the ladies. I would say their style is more classic & simplistic, on trend with what we’ve seen for about the last 5-7 years. Here you’ll see 3 designs: 1 with a yellow diamond & single halo (one wrap of diamonds around the center diamond), 1 with a double halo (double wrap of diamonds around the center stone), and 1 more antique setting with a bezeled diamond, which is my favorite of the 3.
Lauren B Jewelry: Another NYC based designer. Lauren B has varied designs including those with Diamond center stones, along with Moissanite & Morganite stones. Also note the marquise diamond, which is making a major comeback from the 70’s.
David Yurman: A classic jewelry designer with simply stated pieces. Most ladies know the DY statement cable pieces, which are reflected in the engagement ring designs. Our friend Justin at DY at Plaza Frontenac would love to have you in for a visit to discuss more about the ring options they offer!
Simons Jewelers: A St. Louis staple, located in Clayton. They have stunning designs & high quality diamonds. I love the classic solitaire pictured here, along with the vintage flare & the gold setting of the final ring.
Trumpet and Horn: I love these designs, as many of them are antique & have pops of color. Also, T&H has a signature style that makes the center stone look as though it’s wearing a crown…what’s not to love about that??
Be sure not to forget The Mrs. Box, which you can customize with your future last initial! They are seriously so stunning & perfect for wedding day photos!
