Kelsey & Eric’s wedding was one for the books. I’ve known these two throughout their entire love story. Kelsey & I have long standing roots in GC and our grandma’s were best friends. I met Eric, aka “Hobbie” in college. He met Kelsey at McKendree and knew she was something special. They began dating and the rest is history. They’ve been together ever since…through late night Jack in the Box runs to family functions and everything in between. I was honored to help Kelsey & her mom Becky plan some of the details of the day. On top of that, Kelsey asked me to be one of her bridesmaids. This wedding was equally sweet, as my sister was the Maid of Honor and her now husband was a groomsman.
I’ll let the pictures tell the story of her big day. Huge thanks to Kelly Manno for keeping us laughing, finding chic spots for photos despite the rain, and keeping things light, fun, and focused on love!
Final touches from the MOB & MOH, who just so happens to be my baby sister:
They always trust me to do the tough jobs!
You can never go wrong with a beaded dress & gorgeous bling:
Eric’s grandfather was a pitcher for the Cubs, so Kelsey tracked down all of his old baseball cards and had them framed for her soon-to-be hubby as his groom’s gift. So thoughtful:
Sweet moments between the Mr. & Mrs.
So grateful Kelsey’s grandfather was able to make it to her wedding. He was smiling from ear to ear the entire time. He has since passed away, and was one of my favorite people ever. So glad I got to see him one last time!
So much love:
Had a great time with all of these girls!
Festive for the win with the deconstructed lily and garden rose bouquet:
Delectable food for the evening:
Kelsey & Eric (Hobbie): Wishing you many years of love, laughter, hunting, and fun! Love you both! xoxo
